Roundabout Talking News was established in 1978 and provides local news and information in audio format every week for those living in and around Horsham, West Sussex who cannot access the printed word. It is available in a variety of ways online, on the phone, or by post for those who qualify.
Roundabout Talking News has become a much relied upon service by those members of our community that would otherwise not have access to our local newspaper. The informal chats in the magazine section of the weekly recording provide our listeners with a welcome sense of community.
Financial Support & Donations
Our registered charity (No 276417) is run by around 50 unpaid volunteers and provides not only the weekly memory sticks but also the speaker systems at no charge. Our ongoing costs of maintenance, and replacement of equipment and recording media, have to be met, to a great extent, by donations. If you can help us and support this service, to the visually impaired in our area, it would be most appreciated.
The easiest way of finding out more about donations is to email us at info@horsham.mytn.uk.
